Tyler Wynn is the founder and CIO at Birch Creek and has more than 21 years of experience in the capital markets, the majority of which has been centered on trading and portfolio management of mortgage-backed securities, structured products and municipal & tax-exempt bonds. Prior to founding Birch Creek, Tyler was a Director at Strategos Capital Management, LLC, a Philadelphia- based asset management group specializing in the structured credit and residential mortgage-backed securities. 

Prior to Strategos, Tyler began his career on the convertible arbitrage and corporate high yield desk at Susquehanna International Group, LLP, a large privately-held proprietary trading firm in Bala Cynwyd, PA. He is a graduate of Bucknell University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in finance. 

Tyler is also the President of Wynnstay Foundation, a family foundation he created in 2009 with the mission to help individuals and families in need throughout the Philadelphia area. Wynnstay partners with various non-profits through volunteering and financial support.
