Justin Horowitz, a Senior Portfolio Manager at Birch Creek, has more than 15 years of industry experience, spending most of his career as an investor in the municipal bond market. Prior to joining Birch Creek, Justin spent 7.5 years at AllianceBernstein, a large global asset manager with $55bn in municipal assets. Justin was a Vice President and senior trader who led the firm's High Yield and Distressed Municipal trading team. In this role, he was responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management of a suite of high yield products as well as tapping into his extensive network of sell-side relationships in order to source unique investment ideas in both the public and private markets.

Prior to AllianceBernstein, Justin began his career in 2008 at Goldman Sachs, spending most of his time as a municipal bond portfolio manager and trader within the firm's Private Wealth Group where he built customized portfolios for ultra-high net worth clients. Justin is a graduate of Binghamton University, where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree with dual concentrations in both Finance and Leadership & Consulting. He is a CFA charterholder.
